🌿 October BSH Meeting: Dennis Cathcart of Tropiflora

Tuesday, October 20, 2026

One of our favorite speakers is coming back to BSH, and this time he has a special story to tell!

We’re delighted to welcome Dennis Cathcart of Tropiflora for our October meeting.

🌺 FIFTY-ONE & DONE!!!!

(A RETROSPECTIVE OF TROPIFLORA)

With Tropiflora closing, Dennis will be looking back at a remarkable chapter in the bromeliad world. For those of us who have enjoyed his visits over the years, this should be a particularly memorable program.

Come join us for an evening with Dennis and Linda and our fellow bromeliad enthusiasts!

🛍️ Dennis Is Bringing Plants to Sell!

Dennis will also be bringing plants to sell at the meeting, so come prepared to do a little plant shopping!

🚫 No Raffle or Show & Tell This Month

Because Dennis will be bringing plants to sell, we won’t have our regular plant raffle at the October meeting.

Also, with a full agenda that includes Dennis’s presentation and our annual board election, we won’t have a scheduled Show & Tell segment this month.

🗳️ An Important Meeting for BSH Members

We’ll also be holding our annual Board election at this meeting.

We need a quorum of members present and voting, so please make an effort to attend and help us conduct this important Society business.
