On March 17th, Dr Alfredo Cascante-Marin, professor at the University of Costa Rica and member of The Bromeliad Society International, will zoom with us to present a program titled: ‘Bromeliad Breeding and Pollination In Nature’.
At our April 15th meeting, Dr. Larry Giroux will be joining us via zoom for a tribute to Carole Richtmyer and her contributions to the world of bromeliads. Many of Carole’s hybrids and plants will be available for viewing. Program will start shortly after 7pm.
Antonio Garza will be sharing details on the fascinating process of tissue culturing and how it is done at Magnolia Gardens.
Our annual spring sale will be on Saturday March 15, 2025 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Metropolitan Multi-Services Center on West Gray. Come choose from hundreds of bromeliads including Neos, Aechmeas, Billbergias and much more. Come Early for Best Selection!
