If you are new to bromeliads or the society, our members love to share and this is the perfect event for you to meet them and get set up for successful growing. Experienced growers can benefit as well drawing on the expertise of other growers in this area.
March’s 2024 program speaker is Dr. Gabriela Sosa who will be speaking about Building a community of conservation advocates: Urban greenspace management at Buffalo Bayou Park.
This is a Powerpoint taken from Linda Whipkey’s February 2024 presentation on the objectives of the society, the structure of a standard bromeliad show and the functions of volunteers. In addition, a review of documentation, preparation of plants and criteria for entering the show were covered.
