Learn more about us…
Join us for our September meeting as Scherie Townes explores the hidden microclimates around our Houston homes. Learn how temperature, sunlight, and man-made environmental factors can help you decide where to grow your bromeliads—and bring your own yard questions for the discussion!
Tuesday, August 19th, 7:00pm Dr. Sylvia Dee, an Assistant Professor at Rice University, is a climate scientist who will speak to us about climate change and how it affects people and plants
On July 15 we are honored to have our own Tillandsia expert, Aaron Davila, present the historical and scientific background of Tillandsias followed by some very practical information on care and nurturing of those that we have in our collections.
Members join us for the June ABC workshops on Saturday, June 21st at the West Gray center out of the heat this year. Come prepared for some crafts, information and a bbq lunch. It’s free!
If you would like to join or renew your membership in the Bromeliad Society/Houston, you can fill in the Membership Application and bring to our next meeting or mail to our Treasurer:
