Hello All,
After considering the latest news on the COVID-19, the health of our members and our speakers, and the possibility that West Gray may not be available any time soon, the Board of Directors has decided to hold our meetings online using the Zoom software for the next few months. I’d like to thank Mary Cinotto for volunteering to host the June Zoom meeting for us. It will be held on June 16, 2020 from 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM. You should have received an invitation from Mary on May 29, 2020 that contains a link that will allow you to join the meeting. Mary also sent an email on June 2, 2020 containing the link for the meeting in case you did not receive the invitation. If you are not familiar with Zoom, please do an internet search for “how to join a Zoom meeting” and you should find several tutorials. Mary is also going to include a link in the June Bulletin to the tutorials and a link for joining the meeting. The bulletin will be posted online by early next week.
Linda Whipkey, VP of Programs, has also been very busy working to find programs suitable for Zoom and for the remainder of the year should we be able to meet in person again. If anyone has any ideas or programs or speakers, I’m sure she would appreciate hearing your ideas and thoughts.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but feel we should err on the cautious side at this point.

March 2020 Announcements

Program Speaker: Nanako Tingleaf
Program: “Ikebana”
Nanako will give a presentation on using Bromeliads in an Ikebana arrangement. Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement.
