On February 17th, Pam Koide-Hyatt (Birdrock Tropicals and Eco Tour specialist from Encinitas, California) will share a live presentation on Tillandsias
Tuesday, September 16th at 7pm : Member Kathy Stahl will be showing birds and bromeliads from her Central America travels and members will be bringing unique and interesting bromeliads to sell. The sale is open to all visitors as well as members.
Tuesday, August 19th, 7:00pm Dr. Sylvia Dee, an Assistant Professor at Rice University, is a climate scientist who will speak to us about climate change and how it affects people and plants
On July 15 we are honored to have our own Tillandsia expert, Aaron Davila, present the historical and scientific background of Tillandsias followed by some very practical information on care and nurturing of those that we have in our collections.
